Location
This photo was taken in the ancient town of Vladimir, Russia, famous for its magnificent orthodox cathedrals. The one on the photo is called The Cathedral of the Assumption, it was built in the 12th century.Time
It was in the morning.Lighting
The lighting is natural. The day was cloudy, but suddenly it cleared up, right above the cathedral, lightening the golden domes.Equipment
My Canon Mark III 5d, no tripod or flash, lens 24-105Inspiration
I was impressed by the sudden clearing above the cathedral and the way the bizarre clouds matched the tree leaves. It made the whole view looked great, a bit restless, yet the blue clearing looked rather encouraging.Editing
The photo was processed in Luminar 2018, just some enhancement to make it look more dramatic. In my camera bag
I always have my Cannon 5d Mark III, my 24-105, 70-300 and macro lens. you never know which one comes in handy at a certain moment, it's better to have all of them to be on the safe side.Feedback
Well, I try to avoid standard and typical views which you can find in any guidebook. it takes some time and effort, but is worth it.
