This was the pivotal moment when I fell in love with neon!! Anya and I were walking around, doing a little urban fashion streetstyle shoot, and we came across this sports store neon sign. I will admit, I'm a huge fan of Brandon Woelfel neon portraiture work. Honestly, who isn't impressed by him?
I hadn't shot with neon lighting before, so I was super excited to give it a go. Shoutout to Anya for striking such a great moody pose too.
I shot with Canon 5d Markii, ambient available light and a 100mm 2.8 (my 50mm 1.8 was broken at the time)
To edit, I used Lightroom to bring up the shadows, take down the highlights and really express those Teal and Pinks-reds as much as I could!
I think Neon portraiture is such a great medium to play with. No photo turns out the same, and editing can take a million different routes. It is not hard to say, that know I am an addict to Neon!!
