Behind The Lens

Location

This was shot in my balcony garden.

Time

It was shot about noon on a sunny day (which is rare in the part of the world where I live).

Lighting

More than the lighting it was the wind I had to battle and also the perfect shape of the tendril.

Equipment

Shot handheld on a Nikon D610.

Inspiration

Nature is full of intricate designs and patterns. I am still not happy with the photo. I believe there is much more room for improvement.

Editing

I believe I tweaked the blacks to be darker.

In my camera bag

The equipment depends on the situation as it is difficult to shoot while my three-year-old is constantly running about. I use a Sony RX 100, Canon SX50HS and Nikon D610 with Nikkor 105 micro and 50mm f1.4.

Feedback

In nature everything is changing, sometimes the changes are happening pretty fast, especially light, wind and even the organic matter.
