Location
This was taken at a small beach on Lake Erie in Huron Ohio.Time
This was taken at 6:14 am to be exact.Lighting
Just that I love sunrisesEquipment
I used my Canon 70D with my Canon 10-22mm. I did not use a tripod for this shot. I hand held so I could pull up and not get the camera wet from the splash. This is a 1/8th second long shutter and my camera did get a little wet.Inspiration
The washed up branch looked amazing as the waves splashed over it.Editing
I lightened the sand slightlyIn my camera bag
In my bag I carry my Canon 70D, 24-105mm, 10-22mm, 90mm macro along with a sigma 18-35mm and a Tamron 105-600mmFeedback
Patience is the game here. It took me a dozen or more times to keep the slow shutter still and the splash to be just right.
