On a lake about 40 min from the Canada boarder is a place my husband and I have been going now for about 4 years. Its a perch lake so we both fish and my husband helps me with photography. The loons where slow this day and it just got done raining. My husband said be still I will get you close to the deer. He paddled very quiet and we got pretty close. She stomped her hoof a few times but stayed with us until the paddle hit a rock that was slightly under water and that was enough to send her running. #action and suspense for the two of us.

This is typical behavior one eagle gets a fish and others try to take it. Taken at a dam in the winter.

There are about 200 eagles in this area and the shad fish are slowly dying. The eagles are having a feeding frenzy.
