I had laid out my stay in Provence so that the moon phase was favorable for astrophotography. This old house in the midst of a huge lavender field provided an ideal foreground, especially since the Milky Way at the beginning of complete darkness (which is quite relative in Provence - as you can see in the picture, the light pollution is not just low) just above the house was standing. At the beginning I still hoped to be able to spend the time between dusk and darkness in peace at this place, but soon there was a photo workshop consisting of eight people. The participants kept illuminating the hut and the field with flashlights, only with luck can I get some pictures without the light rays of the workshop…
