Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Alston Cumbria in the uk. It’s not my horse but a friends and he asked me if I could get him a photo as his horse never stands still for long enough.

Time

This photo was taken in the golden hour 5,45pm

Lighting

I had tried a few times to capture this horse, but I was always getting shadows and realised it would be better trying to catch a photo in the golden hour and the sun will be in the correct position.

Equipment

The camera I used was an Olympus E-M 10 on a 14 to 42 mm zoom lens with an aperture of F4,5 handheld.

Inspiration

I was asked by a friend if I could get a photo of his horse as it never stands still long enough to get a decent photo.

Editing

No post processing has been done to this photo and with just being an amateur photographer this is all to learn yet.

In my camera bag

I tend to carry the basic when going out for a photo, and mainly plan my bag depending on the photo I’m taking.

Feedback

I’m still learning myself, but don’t be frightened to try things.
