Dawn light reaches softly over iceberg chunks that have been carried ashore on the black sand beach Breiðamerkursandur in southeast Iceland by the surf... These icebergs have been through a lot, having been recently ejected from the nearby Vatnajokull Glacier into Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon and then finally being released to the sea after melting to a size small enough to exit the lagoon... This one is seen here, holding its own peaceful place as the waves rush around it. Such an amazing location!
