Light to die for....especially in the middle to upper layer of the image. I don't know what is on the surface of the water (lower right) but it's just slightly distracting to the overall comp IMHI.....nonetheless, quite superb!!
Well done & congrats....Brian

Location
Autumn photograph of Oxbow Bend in Teton National Park, taken in 2004.Time
This photograph was taken within an our of sunrise, at about 6:00AM, as the early morning sunlight reached the trees. A good place to see early morning wildlife activity.Lighting
This is a wonderful location for sunrise photography. The lighting is, more often than not, beautiful at this time of day.Equipment
Canon EOS Digital Rebel at 70.0mm - f7.1. The camera was mounted on a tripod.Inspiration
The beauty of the TetonsEditing
NoIn my camera bag
These days, a Canon 5D mark III and / or Canon 7D Mark II, with a variety of lenses ranging from wide angle to telephoto, flash unit and remote control. Almost always carry a tripod.Feedback
Pick a time of day when the lighting is dramatic, Use a tripod. I set camera settings to manual and adjust for the type of shot being taken (wildlife action, landscape, dawn or dusk light etc.)
