A U S T E R I T Y - 7 5 1 7 8
Not my usual kind of image, but when when taking my Mum on a "Steam & Cream (Tea)" trip from Bodmin Railway with my brother & sister for her birthday, I had to bring the camera!
The pretty miserable weather didn't matter for our train ride, but I didn't get many good photos. In fact, I only bothered to try a few compositions out. And after-all, my family probably wouldn't want to hang around in the rain while I took photos!
I was happy with this one though, taken as the train driver - engineer climbs on top of "Austerity" to refill her water tank (or so I believe!) I think that the rain adds a little atmosphere and even narrative to the image in a way.
