This abandoned house is a historical treasure and after the death of the owner the heirs could not agree to restore it. In Germany there is the monument protection (see the small sign above the door) which has many conditions on how to restore exactly such an old building. In this case it was prohibitively expensive. No one had enough money and no desire to invest in this house. So they gave it to the geese. One day, and I think this will be soon, the house will collapse. Sad, but this is German bureaucracy.
