This was taken with a Nikon D5300, honestly I'd have to go back and look at the metadata to be certain of the lens I used - but I believe it was a basic kit lens nikor 18-55. This was actually hand held - no flash.Inspiration
I've seen many of the through rock shots coming out of the beautiful landscapes of Utah - Garden of the Gods reminded me of such and I wanted to create a something similar to some of the amazing shots of Arches National Park in Utah.Editing
This is a composition of three shots at different focal lengths, stacking and masking in photoshop so that the rocks and trees in the background were sharper like foreground but not too much.In my camera bag
