This image was created by dipping a drinking glass into a bowl of water with washing up liquid added. It is in fact simply a bubble left around the rim of the glass. This image wasn't originally a set up but something I noticed by chance so decided to take a photo of the effect made as thought it maybe looked something like a close up of a strange planet in the night sky.
