Sometimes a sunset says "Never". This was taken 15 minutes after the sunset near the Down Creek Gallery on Silver Lake in the village of Ocracoke. I saw a lady jogging to the pier to capture this. My wife and I had just finished taking a timelapse during the last hour at the pier by SMacNally's.
The day had been gray, but a break on the horizon spelled good tidings, and boy was I right!
