The fort is quite dim, as you might imagine. However, a sliver of daylight did peek through the openings on the sides of the fort, allowing for proper exposure of the cannon.Equipment

Look for the macro composition. Seeing the arch was interesting, but multiple arches really enhanced the photo. Ask others in your group what they see. Take their suggestions as a starting point and enhance the photo and their suggestions by trying more creative compositions and lighting scenarios
