Arrowtown is situated 25mins from Queenstown, South Island, NZ. This quaint little place is an historic gold rush village, Buckingham Street being the heart of it's history. A beautiful tree lined avenue (early Autumn here) of tiny miner's cottages greets the traveller's eyes. I must note that on this day it was absolutely freezing but so worth the time spent in this golden beauty.
