Location
This photo was takin on Lake Shore Drive in ChicagoTime
It was about 10pmLighting
Just street lightsEquipment
I used a Minolta, small point and shoot camera sitting on a tripod, no flash, my shutter was set for about 30 seconds, i waited for the cars to start rolling by when the street light changed to green, then i pressed the button...Inspiration
I have always liked light trails on cars going by at night, so i thought this was the perfect place to be, downtown Chicago at night, with all those tall buildings as my back drop...Editing
No photo shop here, this photo was straight out of the camera...In my camera bag
I like to have a high density and polorizing filters with me at all times...It helps me keep my shutter open longer without blowing out the image...Feedback
Just be patient, start with 10 seconds, then 15, and keep going till your done, when you get home, look at all your shots and see witch is the best, then next time you go out, set the shutter to that time, they should come out perfect every time...
