Tree Swallow perched on a branch

20190518 - Mequon Nature Preserve - "Tree Swallow" . . .
As I walk to the marsh on this day, I spot this bird, a Tree Swallow, in the tree. We looked at each other and not sensing a threat, we both went about what we were doing. The bird grooming it feathers and of course I am taking photos. Other than a goose, I have never been this close to a wild bird as if it were any closer it would have been perched on my arm. I actually had to move back to get the bird in focus. It is great when nature cooperates. . . . .
