Driftwood washed up on the shores at Nidri Bay, an idyllic section of the coastline of Ionian Island of Lefkada (aka. Lefkas).

The beaches of Nidri are popular with tourists, but slightly out of season and early enough to catch blue hour giving way to the golden light of sunrise, I was the only person around.
Believe it or not, the water in this image is actually the Ionian Sea, but in the shelter of the other 6 islands the ebb and flow is impossibly still early in the morning, creating glass-like reflections of the colours in the sky.
