We were looking at a pride of Lions resting under the shade of some trees when we noticed a slight movement above. There, hanging in broad daylight, were two bats. This bat is 1 of 5 species of False Vampire Bats from Africa.

No, this specie of Bat was actually taken while we were in Africa. It was still a surprise to see them in broad daylight.
