I was on Safari in Botswana - Okavango Delta

Time

This was a sunset safari with my late wife - she spotted him first.

Backlight always the best light

Canon 5D mk IV with the 100-400mm L lens - free hand from the jeep

Inspiration

These painted wild dogs are a delight to photograph - beautiful animals

Editing

Not much - just lifted the shadows and reduced the highlights
