shot at Pasarel dam, chasing light, mist, light, reflections.
It was cold, damned cold, and because of the time of year the dam had drained a fair bit which left us sinking in silt, yet there we were, on the edge of the mirror. Watching the sun come up over the surrounding mountains, the colours change and the mist blowing.
Now, I don’t know if I’m crazy, but I titled this shot, this way, because to my eyes, it looks like a woman lay sleeping, the dark shadows as her hair down her spine, the curves of her shoulders and hips so pronounced. I know it’s similar to my last shot, but this I could not skip past, one of my favourites from the morning, both peaceful and powerful in my eyes, Mother Nature, I thank you!
