Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken at my flat near Mile End in central London. The location was the main inspiration source for me that day with Tower Hamlet Cemetery Park situated just around the corner.Time
This picture was taken just after midday a before my shower which needed after having dried dead sea mud on my face for nearly one hour.Lighting
On that occasion, I have planned using only 1 light source. External Canon spotlight did a great job through the umbrella.Equipment
On that day I had only my Canon 450d available with a 15-55mm lens and 1 external flash.Inspiration
I remember spotting interesting texture on my gal's face while she was having "Dea Sea Mud" Mask on her face. So I have decided to apply some in my face and quickly dried it by using the hairdryer. I was surprised how cracks locked randomly appearing and transforming me in the stone statute.Editing
The original photo needed a little more contrast and sharpness, so this was achieved by using Adobe Photoshop. In my camera bag
In the last few years, my camera bag is resided by Canon 5D Mark3 with a 50mm prime. When the moment I feel adventurous I equip my main camera with the Canon 300mm L lens.Feedback
When light allows you to take an optic memory of a little inspirational moment of the day, don't be still... captured it ????
