This photo was taken in a very large Peony garden among thousands of phenomenal flowers.Time
This photo was taken late in the afternoon when I find the lighting to be just perfect to enhance the beauty of the colors.Lighting
I wanted to draw attention to the colors of the blossom and that's why I chose to use a great depth of field on the dark background.Equipment
This was shot with a Nikon D7200 with a 300mm lens with no filtration, flash or tripod. Just hand held with a 1/400 second exposure.Inspiration
I really enjoy exploring the world of macro photography and the delicate petals and the pastel colors of this flower drew me into that world.Editing
I did very minimal post-processing needing only to touch up some blemishes on the leaves.In my camera bag
