Beqa Island, Fiji, 2014
The sunsets in Fiji were incredible! Every night a burst of color as the sun set. Beqa island is on the eastern edge of a sunken dormant volcano caldera. Yanuca island is on the western edge of the caldera. The sunken rim offers some incredible diving in Fiji. While staying on Beqa island the sunset fell directly over Yanuca island displaying the most staggering array of colors that were simply put stunning as you can see. Unless it was raining this was the view every evening. Although I usually stick to underwater subjects I had to take a few pictures of these incredible sunsets. This was one that stood out and I decided to print.
