Location
The photo was taken at Phnom Kulen, Cambodia. I was there for vacation and capture some beautiful natural places.Time
This is my most favorite picture. I still remember spending a day exploring nature on this Kulen Waterfall Day Tour, which takes me to Phnom Kulen Waterfall, River of a Thousand Lingas, and the Reclining Buddha. We had a long journey to reach the place assist by a tourist guide. Around 10 am Morning we reached and I carried my Nikon Camera D750 together for capture photos. This stunning waterfall is located on the top of a Mount well-known as Kulen Mountain. So I walked to the location and reached the place around 10.30 am.Lighting
The main attraction is the waterfalls at the top of Kulen Mountain and it’s also a great picnic spot and well set up in Cambodian style with hammocks and shelters to keep you shaded from the sun. So, I make sure to take photographs of the waterfall when lighting conditions are ideal. Balanced and the clouds act as natural diffusers great for waterfalls because it helps bring out details in the shadows and amplify the contrast. However, the atmosphere looking at good daylights conditions to do photography.Equipment
This was shot on a Nikon D750 Camera, 18-200mm Tamron Lenses and tripod.Inspiration
I love to travel and explore locations where the language is foreign, the food is strange and people will smile at you just because they know you’re a lost tourist. Actually it's my dream to shot waterfall photography. Photography allows me and encourages me to see the world from different angles and perspectives to show others how to as well. It's a great opportunity to capture this scenery.Editing
Yes, actually nature or landscape photography required processing. I did white balance and light color correction for this photography. In my camera bag
I always do prepare photography equipment especially Camera kit Nikon D750 together with prime lenses Nikon 50mm and 85mm. I did bring together my Nikon lenses 24-70mm and third party lenses Tamron 18-200mm. I kept my camera cleansing kit together in my Camera bag. Battery charges and alternative DSLR Camera kit.Feedback
One of the keys to success in photographing cultures different from your own is doing as much research as you can before you go. I always say I’m a self-taught photographer, but what that really means is that I’ve done a lot of research and I’ve watched a lot of YouTube videos. I have also made it a point to ask professional photographers about how they do what they do, and through all of that I figured out what works for me. I don’t know if what I do is right or wrong, but I’m proud of a lot of the final images that I have come up with. When I first started waterfall photography, my goal was to shoot as long as possible because I wanted the water to be as smooth as possible. I’d set my camera to shoot 30 – 45 seconds per shot. Again, with time and a learning curve, I’ve changed what I do here. Right now, I shoot anywhere from 2 seconds to 15 seconds depending on the texture of the water I’m going for. Again, remember. The longer your shutter speed the smoother the water will look.
