Behind The Lens
Location
This was taken at Pollok House near Glasgow, Scotland.Time
This image was at around noon.Lighting
Lighting was a mix of ambient light from the mid day sun and a small Canon 430ex iii flash. The shoot was planned with using a sun direction app to make sure the sun would be in the right place to have the model lit well and to have the House and pathway in the background.Equipment
Canon 700d with the 18-55 kit lens and a Canon 430ex iii with a 60x60 softbox modifier on full power.Inspiration
The shoot was styled to emulate a Vivienne Westwood fashion shoot.Editing
The sky was darkened to reveal more blue colours but most of the post is a bump to contrast, saturation and a cross process method. In my camera bag
These days, I usually have a Canon 6d, 70-200mm 2.8 lens, a Canon 17 - 35mm 2.8 lens and a sigma 50mm 1.4 lens.Feedback
Using a website called SunCalc was needed to make sure I had the correct location and position for the planned shot.
