I was hesitant to share this, as the eagle is launching away from me, but it caught my eye in my personal gallery, for the abstract nature to it. I was shooting tight, and in close range of the eagles on this day when it started snowing heavily. By the time I captured this shot. I needed to drop to 1600 ISO to capture any movement. I was pleased at the result, considering.

Heron Glam

The iconic Glade Creek Gristmill in West Virginia captured in the fall of 2014

The lake I frequently paddle has a large heron population so I'm constantly searching for an unique perspective to display these marvelous birds.

Paddling out on a lake a heavy fog rolled in. I captured this shot just as the sun began to burn through the abyss.

With the lake still frozen, a beautiful sunrise greeted me, while out eagle hunting.

This is the pair of eagles that I follow the most. From observing them, I've honestly come to feel that they have a true affection for each other
