The photo was taken with my DJI Mavic drone in the Westpark, in the part of the Japanese Garden, Munich.Time
I took the photo at the early afternoon of a cold day in decembre.Lighting
I wanted to use the chance, that no other person is having a walk through the beautiful part of the bavarian park. The low degrees of the winter month were very helpful to get this shot ;-).Equipment
I used my DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone with F5.6 and 1/160seconds exposure time.Inspiration
I was living just few kilometers away from the Westpark, so I often was visiting the beautiful nature at all seasons. This day, I wanted to shot a vertical panorama in preparation of a commissioned work, which should follow the next days. So that photo was nearly the last shot of the day, a little bonus "after work" ;-).Editing
I shot the photo in RAW (dng), so I used my standard workflow in Adobe Lightroom like many photographers do (increase the shadows, soften the highlights, shapen ... ).In my camera bag
Normaly I take my Mavic drone with my when I plan to fly and film the nature from above, elsewhere my Sony Alpha 7 III is in my bag with a stativ, some filters and a lensball maybe. I love it to experiment with my eqipment on ground as well as in the air.Feedback
Follow the rules in flying and wait for the right moment. The opportunities the drone technology offers us since some years are still amazing, make the best of it if you have a copter.
