Pretty cool shot Clint.
This just shows how cruel and effective nature is.

Location
We were tracking a pack of African Wild Dogs (also known as Painted Wolves) when they picked up the scent of an Impala herd. They chased after the herd at pace with us in our safari vehicle in hot pursuit. By the time we had caught up with them they had caught one and started shredding it. I jumped off the vehicle to get a closer shot. As I went down on my haunches this Dog ran past with the head. Great opportunity for me.Time
This action took place late afternoon after the Dogs had finished resting up at their den. The hunt was on.Lighting
Fortunately being late afternoon the sun was low allowing for softer lighting which allowed for richer colours.Equipment
Canon 1DX MkII with a 100-400mm F4L lens hand heldInspiration
