Behind The Lens

Location
The photo was taken at my home studio. I was collaborating with this amazing model and make up srtist.
Time
This is morning session, around 11 am. Natural window light used.
Lighting
The window was on the side of the model. I used hair scarf to create beautiful wavy background (my make up artist helped me with moving the scarf)
Equipment
Nikon D800 and nikkor 24-70 lens (2.8)
Inspiration
The biggest inspiration was my model. I met her at my hairdresser and was in love with those freckles! So I introduced myself and asked if she would like me to pose for me as a model. She agreed. I found a make up artist that wanted to collaborate with me and loved those freckles too. The biggest inspiration in color of the image was spring. It was cherry blossom at the moment in nature and I am adore those beautiful pink cherry blossom. So I have decided to use pink dress and pink scarf as main color of the image.
Editing
Yes of course. I did not have material waves on all background so had to join 3 images together. 1 - model, 2 material of the right side of the image 3 material of the left side of the image. I made ping color as well as freckled pop.
In my camera bag
At the moment I use Nikon D800 + sigma art 85 mm + nikkor 27-70mm 2.8
Feedback
You definitely have to try material waves! It looks beautiful and gives dynamic to the image. Have someone to help you move the material. Do many different moving material images from the same spot, the same angle. It is much easier to join few images together later if you will not change the position during all these shots.
