Unfortunately, with a lot of sports you don't get to choose the ideal time for the light but you make the best of what you have.Equipment
It was shot using a Canon 1 Dx MkII and 200-400 f4 lens with a ND4 filter to keep the aperture open.Inspiration
I always like some slow shutter panning to capture the speed of motorsport and this was an opportunity to shoot from a location and angle I don't usually use.Editing
The image was lightly processed in Lightroom to do the monochrome conversion. I don't often do monochrome conversions but this was one that begged for it.In my camera bag
