Behind The Lens

Location

I had just received my photoball and was looking for a way to try it out. The shot is in my kitchen on the counter. I had a Hershey bar near, so I set the scene and took the shot. I think it turned it great!

Time

It was taken early evening.

Lighting

The light is simply the ambient light in the kitchen. The warm hue coupled with the color of the granite in the counter top and the candy wrapper made a very well balanced composition.

Equipment

Hand held Canon 7D Mark II No flash Macro Lense Aperture f/1.8 ISO 5000 Shutter 1/5000 Focal Length 50/1

Inspiration

To be honest, there wasn't much in the way of inspiration. I was playing around with the new ball, and this is the result.

Editing

Not much editing with this one. It just is how I saw it.

In my camera bag

The Canon 7D Mark II is my only kit. I do have several lenses though. I typically shoot nature, so the Tamron 150 - 600 is my go-to lense.

Feedback

Just play with your work. Photography is fun. Creativity comes from that fun place in your mind. Stop trying to set up, or capture the perfect moment. Be creative and you never know what will come out of your mind.
