Jeløy, Moss, Norway
This narrow avenue, or driveway, to a farm, was made long before cars, when horse and carriers were the fastest way to travel. This avenue was more than wide enough for those needs. These old linden trees grow so close that they form a tunnel of branches and foliage, and are and absolute outer edge that makes it hard for the widest trucks to pass. In fact it's so narrow that only one direction can be navigated at any time by cars, and chaos ensues when drivers oblivious to this fact just go ahead like this is a two-way street.
That aside - this is a wonderfully scenic portion of technology and nature blended with colors of light, from cars, foliage and sky alike. I planned to stay at this location for a set amount of time to make it to the sunset by the open ocean near by. But as this was Sunday with lots of passers by, people stopped by and wondered what I was doing, and some wanted to share the local history and more. Before I knew it it was dark, and I missed the twilight and setting moon.... Next time I will be alone by the cliffs, as nobody ventures out there...
