On our final night in Kruger national park, our excellent Ranger Estiaan Houy took us out to shoot the African Milky Way. We photographed the Milky Way while listening to lions roar in the background. Best. Night. Ever! This shot is a composite of a lily pond just outside our camp and the milky way a few hours later. A few years ago I started WorldPix, which is a 501c3 non-profit that sells photographs, teaches photography workshops and runs safaris with all proceeds going back to help great charities near where the photographs are taken.
