Use our LIghtroom sliders. Move the "shadows" to the right to lighten the dog's face. . If too much globally, use the adjustment brush and paint the dog's face and perhaps to a lesser degree his shoulders. Reduce the brush size and paint his eye as well. See below his ears; the blacks are blocked just a little.

Better depth of field then you were getting before - I see you raised the ISO and it does not appear you are hitting a grain problem. I think the overall light is better, but again a problem with shadow on the face. Need to bring those eyes out. Other comment good ideas. I have no idea what background would be like if tried from different angle when at time of day when light on face more. Miss the action in the one shot, but this is a nice "portrait" shot.
