Say hello to this juvenile Phiduppus Audax female. Also known as a Bold or Daring Jumping Spider. She will soon grow and molt into her adult black and white markings.
After enjoying a "treat" for a few minutes, she calmed down and just kinda chilled on her little leaf for me. I was able to get several good shots but had to share this one.
Cleaning almost non stop makes if pretty difficult to see her beautiful chelicerae clearly. (the textured, iridescent blue-green "parts")???? So I felt privileged not only to see them, but also to get them both in a single shot.
I couldn't hep but think it was kind of her way of saying thank you. ????
