Even though Lake Geneva usually seems calm... It can also be very different. Yesterday I had the chance to experience this directly from the front row.
Thanks to the weather forecast I knew it would be stormy. And so I - once again - stood at Lake Geneva.
The waves were high, the wind was enormous. And soon there was a thunderstorm on the horizon. Lightning flashed over the lake, and over the mountains - from Mt. Grammont - another thunderstorm cell fell onto the lake.
Soon I was surrounded by rain, hissing strong wind and spray whipping my face.
