The best way is to share an excerpt of the magazine cover story that's accompanied this photo: This photo; and others, were part of the "HAVANA VIBES" cover story of the debut issue or Elysia Magazine. German model Nanette Willberg, "Miss Bavern 2021" and Miss Germany 2021 runner-up, has since been published in Vogue Italia and Shuba, and many more ... is Ph.D. and lecturer, and continues to model for major brands as well. Nanette and I met on Instagram, and having been born in the same town, Munich we struck up a conversation. In the intro of the cover story it reads: "In March 2019 a model from Bavaria in Germany meets with a photographer from Virginia, United States in Havana, Cuba for a photo shooting. and in inteeview style, the publisher goes in to ask: "How did you get in touch with each other for this specific shoot? Nanette: Well I posted my trip to Cuba in my bio, King then got into contact with me and sent me text messages. At first we joked about meeting but it became a spontaneous and wonderful meetup. King: I saw Nanette's profile and was struck by her beauty - and I knew she would become famous - so as I had planned to be in Europe in 2019, I thought why not reach out. I don't recall exactly that you were posting your Cuba trip before, but I texted you and within a few DMs off to Cuba it was. How long have you been in Havana then? Nanette: I have been to Cuba for one week and was in Havana for only 2 days. King: I arrived one day before Nanette to scout places, and only stayed for the time of the shoot. Your shoot took place over two days? King: We only shot for one day, in and around Havana from AM to sunset. We were scheduled to start at sunrise, but I overslept by many hours ... and the car I had rented for the day was honking for many hours trying to wake me up ... which was very embarrassing ... not to mention that Nanette was a little concerned. Nanette: In retrospect that was a funny moment. I was waiting for King in front of the hotel. He wanted to meet me with a rented car, but he did not arrive until a few hours later. I thought he would not come at all. But finally ... King: Nanette, you showed a lot of patience and trust Nanette: And we had the best time together after al ... and are now friends forever Nanette: True! I mean we only had met over social media beforehand. You must be concerned as a woman unfortunately ... ... and there's much more :)Editing
I do not like to over edit or manipulate my photos, so besides some possible color corrections, this photos is for all intents and purposes uneditedIn my camera bag

Get to know your subject (animate or inanimate) and use the available light to the best advantage. As for me, when I am shooting with people, I assume the role of a documentary type photographer vs a portrait photographer ... in other words, my photos are moments in time, natural and unstaged. In this case, we are simply walking back to our car ...
