Old school photography! Ran a photo/darkroom lab for 5 years and many years of using such. Never though to use one as furniture!

Not so old...lol...I spent twenty years of my career as, first as a lab tech then custom printer then lab mgr...those things were my world...I still own one...it's somewhere in storage and can't bring myself to sell it.

Wow. Haven’t seen one of these in a while. I had a 23 setup at home when I was in high school. Bought a 23c to try color later on but never ended up using it.

I used one around 1977 for a few years. Jumped to digital 1999 or so.

I used to own this exact enlarger. Loved it. I miss the smells and being sequestered in my darkroom for hours. I feel inspired to build a darkroom again

I also still have an old enlarger. Packed away in a box, though.. Not sure what I'll do with it. I haven't shot with film in ages.

I've still got a Durst and two Besslers in storage. Despite the old adage: "If you haven't used it in a year, you need to get rid of it", I'm longing for the day when I can create from scratch again.

I like to have one of this but it’s expensive. I took a class on developing film. I enjoyed alot but I wasted alot of paper just to get the perfect result.

I am using my old enlarger as a lamp in my living room. I turned the lamp head part upside down and put a small cool burning spotlight bulb in it. It bounces off the ceiling and the light covers most of my living room.

Yep, much of my photo education came from my father in a darkroom set up in the bathroom doing B&W. See this is a Color Machine, a lot harder.

I used to have one of those 23CIII. Turned my townhouse kitchen into a darkroom. Love it!!!

Color head enlarger! 👍 In \"prehistoric photography\" this was the top of color photo lab technique! I even used the Durst Color Laborator 2000 enlarger!

Thanks for reminding me of my 23-C! Takes me back a few years. Donated it to a school program that wanted to teach/demonstrate how photography was done.

I used to use this same model in trade school when I took commercial photography.
