I like that you have chosen to present this in B&W,
I believe, the image is much more powerful and dramatic in monochrome.
Your use of the fence-line in composition and its diagonal line, provides a leading line into the landscape that adds contrast, interest and depth,
The fence, and the moody cloud-line also fit the " rule of thirds" perfectly, which guide the viewers eyes directly to the torrents of rain on the horizon.
