This photo was taken on my trip To Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain. It was raining and I saw that the Museo del Publo Gallego was open & went there to shelter. It is a former convent.Time
It was around midday & I was walking with my husband to a tapas bar. I was curious about the culinary traditions of Galicia. Then it started raining.Lighting
It was a perfect moment of lighting because it comes partly from the window directly above. The sun chose that moment to come out. It was a divine opportunity.Equipment
I had a tiny pocket size Olympus x-42 with a zoom lens.Inspiration
It was sheer opportunistic. The beauty & symmetry was stunning. I wandered around looking for the best place to take it. I later heard it is considered as one of Santiago’s most loved architectural features.Editing
Absolutely no processing ... the image spoke for itself. In my camera bag
I now own a Canon 5D Mk IV and am struggling to learn more about a DSLR camera. On this occasion my pocket Olympus did a good job.Feedback
Personally I think you have to have an eye for the unique capture all the time. You’ll be stopped in your tracks, you have to take it whatever equipment you have at the time.
