Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken of day three of London Fashion Week,

Time

Time of day was I would say early afternoon. It was a cold sunny day but! Fortunately we where in the shade so didn’t have to deal with any glare from the sun.

Lighting

Lighting wasn’t to tricky! Although it was in a make shift tunnel with lots of People coming through!

Equipment

Completely natural light, it was shot with Fuji XH1 with a 35mm 1.4 lens (50mm in full frame terms)

Inspiration

I loved the style Jacob (fashion blogger) had for his urban street style. I thought it was very effective, with a nice selection of colour variations.

Editing

I mostly use Lightroom, but I don’t go overkill. If I think it needs more work I will outsource it to a Retoucher. If it was a beauty shoot I would definitely have it edited by a retoucher.

In my camera bag

I usually carry one body, 35mm,50-140mm and 55mm lenses.

Feedback

It’s very challenging trying to get a good shot with about fifty photographers trying to do the same thing. Persistence pays of in the end.
