Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken on one of my photo excursions in Wyoming County, NY.

Time

I believe this photo was taken around mid afternoon. I often take a drive to clear my head and simply stop to shoot when something strikes me.

Lighting

The clouds were moving slowly that day and I liked how the sun played against the clouds, offering a patch of blue sky for contrast.

Equipment

This shot was taken with my Nikon D750 with a 20-35mm lens. No other equipment was used.

Inspiration

The clouds looked beautiful that day and I wanted to capture the texture.

Editing

I do my best to get my shots as I want them in-camera, therefore I do minimal post processing.

In my camera bag

I tend to keep it simple when I’m out and carry my Nikon D750, macro, 20-35mm and my 35-300mm lenses.

Feedback

Always know where the sun is and just relax and enjoy the process. Whatever you see in your minds eye, capture it.
