Behind The Lens

Location

Alaska Raptor Center Sitka, AK, it is a raptor rehabilitation center.

Time

Around 10:00 in the morning.

Lighting

These are the injured birds that are placed out in the sunny area on good days. it allows them to be seen by people who would not normally see these birds. A 5.6 F-stop to make the screen netting disappear.

Equipment

Nikon 7200, 15 mm - 85 mm lens, and a steady hand.

Inspiration

On a vacation with the wife and had been there before an thought she would like it.

Editing

Brightness, Contrast, and cropped the picture.

In my camera bag

Camera, short zoom, Long zoom and lots of memory stick, I ran out on trip to Yellowstone with daughter.

Feedback

Patience they cannot fly away but they do not cooperate.Took two SD sticks worth of picture this is the Best of the Snowy Owl.
