Behind The Lens

Location
Was heading to the top of a lookout in the Yarra Ranges to take some shots and came across some burnt area of trees.
Time
It was just prior to midday.
Lighting
Light clouds but sun was shining on an Aussie summer’s day.
Equipment
Canon EOS 6D and Sigma 8mm f3.8 Circular Fisheye Lens.
Inspiration
The mix between old burnt out trees and new growth. The contrast behind the blue background sky.
Editing
Used Lightroom HSL Blue Only Preset, some contrast adjustments, clarity adjustments, saturation adjustment and vibrancy adjustment. Also used Lens correction to adjust for distortion of the fisheye lens.
In my camera bag
Canon EOS 6D, Canon Lenses 24-105mm f4, 50mm f1.8, 85mm f1.8, 90-300mm f4.5, Sigma 8mm f3.8 Fisheye, Canon 580exII Flash, Filters, IPhone Apps CasCable and PhotoPills. Also a few other small items.
Feedback
This was a case of having an eye for something, setting the frame and executing the shot. I shoot in RAW which allows me greater options for editing and playing with small settings in Lightroom for post processing.
