The photo was taken in La Jolla, CATime
It was during sunrise (in a cloudy day)Lighting
The original plan was to capture the calm colors of sunrise, but since it was cloudy I decided to do a very long exposureEquipment
Canon 5D Mark III Canon EF 24-105 4LInspiration
I always liked the pictures taken under pier. The goal is to challenge me to be creative on this very common scenarioEditing
Since it is a 420 seconds exposure in f/22 I needed to remove the a good amount of spots. Also basic light adjustment in Lightroom and some sharpening on PhotoshopIn my camera bag
I use to have my Canon 5D Mark III with canon lens (24-105 4L, 70-200 2.8 and the 17-40 4L) Now I usually have my Sony A7R3 with the canon lenses and the Sony 16-35 2.8)Feedback
Just be ready to adapt when the weather is not what you had in mind.
