One of the largest redwood trees still living in Canada. The tree is called Cheewhat..when we went to this site quite a few years ago we measured this tree at 63 feet 10 inches in circumference...and over 200 feet high. Guessing around 3000-4000 years old ....Cheewhat is a beauty of a tree still protected on Vancouver Island...I hugged that old tree...imagine the stories it has to tell.
