Behind The Lens

Location

Tokyo is just an amazing place for photos. Walking around, you'll often sooner, rather than later end up in some amazing alley.

Time

Evening stroll.

Lighting

The entire scene was lit with advertising signs from all the small shops and eating places.

Equipment

Sony a6300 with 18-105 zoom lens at 23mm. 1/15s at f/6.3. I didn't have a tripod with me, so I pulled out a trashcan for stability.

Inspiration

Japan and Tokyo are a true source for inspiration.

Editing

Lightroom and Photoshop were used to post-process.

In my camera bag

When travelling I love the 18-105 lens as it works for most situations you come across. The APSc size of the a6300 also helps to get in closer to things. True it's perfect not the perfect lens for landscape or architectural shots, but for traveling it is just perfect.

Feedback

I'd probably bring a tripod next time :)
