I traveled to Canyon de Chelly hoping to shoot the total lunar eclipse in January 2019. But when I got there, the upper part of the canyon where I hoped to shoot was inaccessible due to snow and ice. And the weather was in any case overcast. But I did get this shot of the full moon, several hours prior to the eclipse, rising over the canyon rim through a thin veil of clouds.
